About

Blending over 30 years of experience in Eastern medicine, psychology, and energy-based practices, I support people in uncovering the deeper roots of their challenges - whether physical, emotional, or behavioral - and guide them toward clarity and self empowerment.

Hi, I’m Ina Niemann

My journey into healing began more than three decades ago with Acupressure. I was struck by its effectiveness – particularly in chronic conditions where other approaches had reached their limits. This led me to formally study Oriental Medicine and build a professional practice incorporating Acupuncture, Acupressure, Moxibustion, and Nutritional Therapy.

Over time, a clear pattern emerged: Physical Symptoms were rarely just physical.

Behind many conditions, I found unprocessed emotional tension, internal conflict, or aspects of a person that had not yet been acknowledged.

Where Professional Work Met Personal Experience

Alongside my clinical work, my own life brought experiences of loss, transition, and the challenges of building a life across cultures.

One of the most profound influences, however, has been raising a child with neurodivergent traits. This experience deepened my understanding of how differently individuals can perceive, process, and respond to the world – and how these differences shape not only the individual, but the entire family dynamic.

It brought into sharp focus how easily misunderstanding, pressure, and adaptation patterns develop – not from dysfunction, but from the attempt to cope, belong, and function within a given environment.

This insight became foundational to my work.

The Concept of Adaptation Profiles

Through decades of observing patterns in both individuals and families, I developed the concept of Adaptation Profiles, a framework for understanding how we respond to stress, change, and emotional complexity.

These adaptations influence:

When unconscious, they can lead to tension, confusion, or disconnection.

When understood, they offer a powerful pathway to clarity, choice, and more authentic ways of relating – to ourselves and others.

The Missing Link: The Mind

While my background in physical medicine revealed the intelligence of the body, I increasingly saw that sustainable change requires working with the mind.

This led me into in-depth study of psychology and neuroscience, focusing on trauma, conditioning, belief systems, and behavioural patterns – including neurodivergent tendencies that influence perception and response.

Training in coaching and integrative counselling allowed me to bring these elements together – connecting body, mind, and deeper awareness into one cohesive approach.

Today, I help individuals and families:

understand the underlying patterns behind their challenges
recognise how and why they have adapted
develop greater awareness, flexibility, and self-acceptance

My work is not about fixing what is “wrong,” but about making sense of what is – and creating space for meaningful, sustainable change.

Qualifications and Professional Studies
